We were gonna get up at 4:00 a.m. -which I did - to catch a view of the sun rising behind the Himals, but alas it was too overcast. I did get the best rest so far this morning! The day was pretty much turned over to arranging extra gigs. At 4 p.m. we met several of the local Baha'is, shared some good fellowship, sang, talked. Our hostess attended Maxwell Baha'i School on Vancouver Island and was interested to learn that I would be presenting there in a few weeks time, and that we had many mutual acquaintances! Because it is the primary leaping-off point for trekkers, rafters, etc., Pokhara is a major tourist center and has abundant businesses catering to that market.
